Robert Frost 5th graders participate in a grade-level Leadership program. During first semester, students study the seven habits that create successful students:
Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Once students learn the seven habits, they have the chance to demonstrate these habits throughout the school week. Students are then eligible to participate in a leadership committee during Friday afternoons. Students choose from a variety of committees, meet to create a plan, and finally put that plan into action which helps keep our school looking the best it can!
Go Roadrunners!
